The Timeline View and related functions are consistent across Costruction Mode and Maintenance Mode. This view allows a User to visualize when Work Tickets are due/scheduled for, create new activities, and view already logged activities. Users may also edit and delete activities in the Timeline, as well as schedule and reschedule Work Tickets. The only difference between Construction and Maintenance Modes is with regard to accessing the Timeline view. In Construction Mode, Users access the Timeline widget via the Settings menu. In Maintenance Mode, Users access the Timeline view via the Main Menu.

Timeline Commands and Widgets

Function

Select User

The Select User widget allows a User, with appropriate permissions, to see Timelines for other Users including their Work Tickets and Activities. The User may also select Unassigned, to view unassigned records.

Refresh

Tap the refresh icon, located in the top right corner of the view, to synchronize Work Ticket or Activity data.
Create Activity

This widget allows Users to quickly create an Activity for a Case or Contract or create a Work Ticket depending on the currently selected record option.

Timeline Display Selector

Use this widget to control the Timline Display, allowing the User to select Day, Week or Month.

  • Day - The Timline shows the hour-by-hour breakdown for a selected day with the entire week visible at the top of the window.
  • Week - The Timeline  shows the hour-by-hour breakdown for seven consecutive days with the entire week visible at the top of the window.
  • Month - The Timeline shows the hour-by-hour breakdown for a selected day with the entire month visible at the top of the window. 
Today

Selecting Today will bring whichever view a User is in to the current date and time.
Timeline Record Selector

This widget controls which records are displayed on the Timeline, allowing the User to select either Work Ticket or Activity

  • Work Ticket - Displays only Work Tickets assigned to the selected User or Unassigned Work Tickets
  • Activity - Displays logged Activities on the Timeline, as well as Activities logged when working with Cases and Work Tickets
