The IMMS mobile client extends IMMS records and functionality into the field, allowing dispatched personnel to access and interact, in real time, with only those project records that apply to the User's current work assignments. While Job Connect only downloads a segment of overall IMMS records, sometimes there is a reason to further filter the downloaded records to a more targeted segment.
In Maintenance Mode, the Global Filters view allows the User to apply filters across the entire mobile application session, which will restrict the displayed records from all other views to only those which match the Global Filters criteria. Global Filters allow the User to refine the displayed records by Contract and/or User.
The User can change Global Filter settings at any time during an active session. Upon User logout, the Global Filter settings will be reset. Upon new User login, any desired Global Filter settings must be newly applied.
Use Global Filters to refine data displayed throughout the application. If your focus is a particular Contract(s) or User(s), apply Global Filters to control the records (e.g., Cases, System Elements, Assets, etc.) displayed across all views in Maintenance Mode.
