InfraLink provides Users access to design drawings throughout the maintenance performance period. Tracking System Elements and all related maintenance activities to the original system design helps maintain the configuration baseline and ensure maximum system performance.
If drawings exist on the InfraLink Server which include the System Element(s), Locations, or Contracts associated with assigned work (i.e., Cases and PM Tasks), those drawings will be downloaded to the mobile device during an application synchronization. The Drawings view, available from the Maintenance Mode Main Menu, allows Users to browse a list of available design Drawings, select a Drawing and open the selected Drawing details.
This article describes these features and functionality offered via the Drawings view in Maintenance Mode.
General Layout
The Drawings view offers a very basic list layout with a single view command (i.e., Filter) and one-tap navigation to Drawing details.
Drawing Details View
Selecting a Drawing from the Drawings view will immediately open the corresponding Drawing Details view. The Drawing details view displays the Drawing on the left side of the screen and a records list along the right side of the screen. Additionally, two view commands are available in the top right corner of the view.
Drawing Display
The selected Drawing is displayed along the left side of the view. Depending on the records mapped to the Drawing, it may offer an interactive User experience.
Drawing Display Options
A link in the bottom left corner of the Drawing viewer allows the User to define which Drawing details will be displayed on the design Drawing. The User can select:
- Image - Selecting the Image option displays the original design drawing without annotations. A Drawing Image is not interactive.
- No Labels - Selecting the No Labels option displays the design drawing, but System Element Labels are omitted.
- Everything - Selecting the Everything option displays the design drawing with all annotations and System Element Labels. System Element Labels are interactive.
Drawing Navigation
A User can navigate the interactive Drawing using standard touchscreen controls.
Scroll - Drag fingertip across the screen without lifting, to move the Drawing in that same direction.
Zoom In - Place two fingertips on the screen, near the desired focal point, and spread them apart to zoom in.
Zoom Out - Place two fingertips on the screen and pinch together to zoom out. Image zoom will be centered from fingertips.
Tap - Tap to select. See the "Record Selection" section below for more information.
Records List
The records lists will list records associated with the selected Drawing. The User can select the type of records to be listed. Options include:
- System Elements - Lists System Elements that are downloaded to the mobile device and included on the selected Drawing
- Issues - Lists Issue Type Cases that are downloaded to the mobile device and associated with System Elements on the selected Drawing
- PMs - Lists Preventive Maintenance Cases that are downloaded to the mobile device and associated with the System Elements on the selected Drawing

Drawing Details View Commands
View Command | Icon | Details |
---|---|---|
Hide List | To maximize the viewing area for the interactive Drawing, the User can select this Hide List view command to hide the records list from view. The interactive Drawing will then occupy the full screen. The records list can be restored by simply tapping this icon again. | |
Refresh/Synchronize | When network connectivity is available and active, the Refresh/Synchronize icon allows Users to perform a data sync on just the active Drawing record. This is a useful tool to ensure that you are viewing the most current Drawing details without having to perform a full Sync Data download. |
