The Item List view is designed to show a User a list of items associated with a Project or drawing, whether those items are System Elements, Issues, or Tasks. The Item List view can be accessed at the Project level, without a drawing, for a full Project summary. More commonly, however, the view is accessed via a drawing selection, and the associated list of items will be specific to that drawing. Whether viewing a Project Item List or a drawing Item List, the view displays the status of each System Element, the history of all work performed, and the Issues associated with the project or individual drawing.

This article provides information and guidance on the following Item List view features.

Accessing the Item List View

Project View

The Item List Project view is accessible via the Drawing Selector and is useful for reviewing overall Project progress.

  1. Select the desired Project from the Project Selector to open the associated Drawing Selector.
  2. From the Drawing Selector, tap the Item List widget.
  3. The Project Item List view will open, with no drawing displayed, and list all System Elements and statuses associated with that Project, a complete history of work performed on that Project, and all associated Issues.

Drawing View

In most scenarios, a User will access the Item List view via a drawing selection.

  1. Select the desired Project from the Project Selector to open the associated Drawing Selector.
  2. From the Drawing Selector, tap on the desired drawing to select it.
  3. The drawing Item List will open, with the drawing displayed to the left.  A panel on the right side of the view will display a list of the System Elements on that drawing with current statuses, the history of work performed on those System Elements, and the related Issue Cases.

Work Picker

The Work Picker opens the Select Status window, which summarizes the type and amount of completed work on the drawing. By default, the Work Picker is represented by the "All Work" icon shown here. However, the displayed icon will change depending on the status selection made from the Select Status window, as described in greater detail below.

Assigned Work

The Wrench widgets shows a User how many Items are currently assigned to them. Selecting the Wrench will open a window showcasing Open Issues, In Progress Work, and any Scheduled Work. This Assigned Work window will also appear every time a User syncs if they have work assigned to them.

Note: The Wrench will not appear unless a User has work assigned to them.

Barcode Scanner

See the Scan Barcode section.

Search

The Search field allows a User to search through Global items, meaning all projects downloaded to the device, or the current list of items which is dependent on what is selected currently.
Share

See the Share Feature section.
Hide List

To maximize the viewing area for the interactive drawing, the User can select this Hide List view command to hide the Item List panel from view. The interactive drawing will then occupy the full screen. The Item List panel can be restored by simply tapping this icon again.
Selected

In the bottom left corner of the view, the number to the right of Selected shows the number of items that are currently selected.

Filter/Chevron

Located in the lower left corner of the view, this upward pointing chevron opens the Select by Parameter window, which allows a User to filter/select items by Type, Custom Fields, Category, Current Status, Tasks, System or Subsystem, Location, and Issues. There is also an option to highlight the selected items on the drawing.

Clear

The clear icon, a circled X in the lower left corner of the view, allows the user to clear all current selections.

Item List Panel Features

The Item List panel contains four main options: Status, Work Plan, Activity, and Issue as well as varying items and actions such as creating Issues. Beneath each control is a sliding panel that organizes the items below it into categories. For example, The Status view organizes based on status, the Activities view organizes based on actions performed, and the Issues view organizes based on Open Issues.

See below for more details concerning the options.
