InfraLink refers to PM, inspections, testing, audits and other recurring scheduled activities as PM work. PM Work is organized into PM Cases created by the PM Generator (based on the rules defined by PM Groups) and comprised of individual PM Tasks.
This article provides information and guidance on these topics related to the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of PM work in InfraLink.
The main dashboard widgets aim to provide easy access to the high-level performance metrics of the PM work at the project level, such as schedule compliance. A user with sufficient privileges may include and customize one or multiple PM performance widgets into project-specific dashboards and save and share them for use by the project team.
PM Performance Summary – shows a scheduled compliance score in % (either on-time Cases / total Cases or on-time Cases / completed Cases) and a current PM completion % (completed Cases / total Cases)
PM Scheduled Compliance by Contract – shows on-time and late Cases by Contract
PM Schedule compliance by Recurrence - shows on-time and late Cases by recurrence type (once, daily, weekly, monthly, annually)
PM work is organized into Cases, and each Case represents a single occurrence of a PM defined by a particular PM group and incorporates a set of individual tasks. Use the Status by Group view to effectively monitor the scope and progress of the PM work for each occurrence of each PM group.
This report is a customizable Excel-exportable grid that shows PM Cases and their valuable details, like:
The Status Summary by Group view relies on a typical layout with a filtering panel on the left and the content area configured as a grid. The most common filtering options available are described below:
Filter | Usage Notes |
---|---|
Contract | Use this filter to view PM Cases associated with a Contract. |
Location | Use this filter to view the PM Cases whose scope includes at least one System Element associated with a particular location (or one of the selected locations) or its sub-locations. |
System | Use this filter to view the PM Cases whose scope includes at least one System Element that belongs to a particular system. |
Due Date | Use this filter to view PM Cases whose due date is within selected range, e.g. current week, next month, specific dates. |
Active Window | Use this filter to view PM Cases whose planned start date and due date are within selected range. |
Case Status | Use this filter to view PM Cases whose status matches selected status(es). |
Status | Use this filter to view PM Cases whose PM Group's status matches selected status(es). |
Recurrence Type | Use this filter to view the PM Cases with selected PM group's frequency, e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, and so on. |
System Element Types | Use this filter to view the PM Cases whose scope includes at least one selected System Element type. |
System Elements | Use this filter to view the PM Cases whose scope includes at least one selected System Element. |
Assigned to | Use this filter to view the PM Cases whose assignee is within selected user(s). |
The scope of PM work usually includes a variety of activities performed at different frequencies on different systems elements and may comprise thousands or tens of thousands of tasks scheduled throughout a year (a common reporting period). Use the Progress Review feature of InfraLink for an easy, at-a-glance representation of whether or not the project team is able to keep up with the PM scope scheduled throughout the year.

Unlike the above features that work at a higher level, the All Scheduled Tasks is designed to give the user the ability to review the status and navigate to the details of the scheduled (and completed) PM work at the individual task level. Flexible view configuration, filtering, and export options make it powerful tool for generating custom reports exportable to MS Excels.

The Analyze Results view goes one more level deeper. Consider a situation when a particular critical measurement is performed on a range of System Elements as part of a specific PM procedure. The Analyze Results view will allow you to create a report showing the results of that critical measurement (or several such measurements/checks) for all systems elements that the PM work has been completed on, subject to additional filtering criteria. Similar to the All Scheduled Tasks view, the flexible view configuration, filtering, and export options make the Analyze Results view a powerful tool for generating custom reports exportable to MS Excels.
