Asset Management Overview

Systems operation, maintenance, and installation projects involve a wide variety of Assets, including physical hardware components that can be in inventory on warehouse shelves, out for repair, or deployed in production. A Contract can involve hundreds, if not thousands, of types of material Assets.

Through integrated asset management features and functionality, InfraLink:

• Groups similar materials, tracks pertinent attributes of materials (e.g. sizes, ratings, capacities), and organizes and navigates Asset inventory by those attributes
• Supports lifecycle configuration for each Asset and offers Users real-time access to an Asset’s current Condition, Status and Location, as well as its deployment history
• Compares in-stock quantities against configured thresholds and notifies Users when it is time to reorder
• Ensures that System operations are never impacted by unavailable Asset inventory
