The number and type of authentication methods vary per InfraLink instance. Each option is listed for selection on the main sign-in page. The button label (“User Prompt”) for each authentication method can be edited via the UI, as can the order in which the authentication methods are presented.

This is an administrative action. The Authentication Provider - Read and Authentication Provider - Update Permissions are required to make these changes.

To modify the button label (“User Prompt”) for an Authentication Method:

  1. Navigate to: Configure –> Authentication Providers
    1. Note: All authentication methods will be listed.
    2. The “Disabled” column indicates whether the method is currently in use.
  2. Select the Authentication Method you wish to edit.
  3. Select the Edit button at the top of the grid view.
  4. Within the Edit form, you will see a User Prompt Enter the desired label/text in this field.
    1. Note: If this field is empty, InfraLink will apply a default value on the sign-in page. That default language will reference the Authentication Provider Name.
  5. Click Save.

To reorder the presentation of Authentication Providers on the main/sign-in page:

  1. Navigate to: Configure –> Authentication Providers
    1. Note: All authentication methods will be listed.
    2. The “Disabled” column indicates whether the method is currently in use.
  2. Select the Order button at the top of the grid view.
    1. Note: The Authentication Providers Order form displays only active Authentication Providers.
  3. Select the Authentication Provider that you wish to move.
  4. Drag and drop the selected item to the desired position in the list.
  5. Click Save.
