The number and type of authentication methods vary per InfraLink instance. Each option is listed for selection on the main sign-in page. The button label (“User Prompt”) for each authentication method can be edited via the UI, as can the order in which the authentication methods are presented.
Permission-Restricted Activity
This is an administrative action. The Authentication Provider - Read and Authentication Provider - Update Permissions are required to make these changes.
To modify the button label (“User Prompt”) for an Authentication Method:
- Navigate to: Configure –> Authentication Providers
- Note: All authentication methods will be listed.
- The “Disabled” column indicates whether the method is currently in use.
- Select the Authentication Method you wish to edit.
- Select the Edit button at the top of the grid view.
- Within the Edit form, you will see a User Prompt Enter the desired label/text in this field.
- Note: If this field is empty, InfraLink will apply a default value on the sign-in page. That default language will reference the Authentication Provider Name.
- Click Save.
To reorder the presentation of Authentication Providers on the main/sign-in page:
- Navigate to: Configure –> Authentication Providers
- Note: All authentication methods will be listed.
- The “Disabled” column indicates whether the method is currently in use.
- Select the Order button at the top of the grid view.
- Note: The Authentication Providers Order form displays only active Authentication Providers.
- Select the Authentication Provider that you wish to move.
- Drag and drop the selected item to the desired position in the list.
- Click Save.
