Introduction
IMMS InfraLink offers Users the Export All feature, which allows for the export of selected data according to a User-specified schedule or on demand. The Export All feature is also the starting point for most bulk record updates in IMMSInfraLink.
When preparing a bulk data import for the purpose of updating records in IMMSInfraLink, the User must identify the UUID, the unique record identifier in IMMSInfraLink, for each record being updated. IMMS InfraLink assigns a UUID to each new data record at the time it is created. The UUID, however, is not typically displayed in standard IMMS InfraLink views or details panels. The UUIDs can be easily obtained by exporting data for the desired records. Additionally, the data export file will provide column headers for other record attributes, which can be used in the subsequent Import data file.
This article provides guidance on the following topics related to exporting data from InfraLink for subsequent bulk update.

Filtering Existing Records
To begin a data export from IMMSInfraLink, you must start by selecting the desired records. To do this, use the Main Menu to access the appropriate view for the records in question (e.g., Device Equipment List view, All Assets view, Manage Locations (List View) view, etc.)
...
Once you have filtered the list down to your desired records, click on the button at the top of the view. From the Export All drop-down menu, select the Import Friendly (CSV) option.
An IMMS InfraLink pop-up window will then ask if the Export All is to occur now or as scheduled. Select the "Now" option and then click the Create button.
...
Note: Not all exported data columns can be updated with certain Import features. To be updated, the attribute has to be direct attribute of the data record being updated. For example, an export of selected Assets may include data columns for Manufacturer and Type. Manufacturer and Type are attributes of the Model and cannot be updated with an Assets Import. Those updates would have to be made at the Model level.
