From the Item List View, Users can view all System Elements associated with a Project or a selected drawing. While performing Project work, Users also require access to information specific to a single System Element and its associated work. The Construction Mode User Interface allows Users to easily access and navigate these device-specific details, which are displayed in panels along the right side of the screen.
This article provides information and guidance for accessing System Element Details from the Item List view.

Accessing System Element Details

Tap the chevron () to the right of a System Element name to open the details panel for that individual System Element. Likewise, a long tap on a System Element in a drawing will also bring up the details panel for that individual System Element.
Detail Panel Options
...
The System Element Details will always open to the Details panel, which displays general information for the selected System Element. Additional panel options may be presented for a System Element, depending on the device's attributes or scheduled work. Users can navigate between panels using the icons at the bottom of the details panel.

The general Details panel automatically appears after selecting a System Element. This panel consists of information directly related to a specific System Element such as the Name, Type, Status, Scheduled Work, Pending Work, Issues, etc.

Details Panel Field | Details |

Description | This field includes any details and information not summarized in the fields below. |
Type | This field will show the System Element Type. |
Status | This field will show the System Element Status and its associated color. |
Details | Tapping details will show, if populated, the modal window with custom fields associated with a System Element. |
Go to... | This field allows a User to view the drawings, parent hierarchy, and locations associated with the selected System Element. |
Zoom Here | Selecting the widget will zoom to the system element on the currently visible drawing. |
Asset Information | This field shows Asset information such as make, model, location, serial number, etc. Depending on the status of an asset, buttons such as "replace" or "test" might be available in this field as well. |
Scheduled Work | This field only appears if there is open Scheduled Work for a System Element. It will show either a PDF work form icon () or Native work form icon (). See Completing Tasks and Completing Work Forms for more information and guidance. Note: Once completed, it can only be accessed from PM Panel. |
Pending Work | This field, if blue, shows the next possible transitioning status for a System Element. If the field is grey, the System Element will be allowed to transition to a status outside of its regular workflow but the User will need to specify why the System Element is transitioning in that manner. This field will also show all milestones completed for the System Element as well as any available work still left to be completed. |
Issues | This field shows any Issues/Cases associated with that System Element. It also presents a Create Case button that allows a User to create a Case directly associated with that System Element. |
Images | This field displays any attached files/images associated with the System Element update records. |
Comments | This field shows all previous comments associated with that System Element. It also gives a User the option to add comments, including attaching documents, photos or other media.. |
Refresh | Select the refresh button at the top right of the Details or PM panel to sync only the information displayed for the System Element a User is viewing. |
Connection Details Panel
If the selected System Element is of the Connection Type, the general Details panel will present additional information specific to that Connection's terminations, including each termination's status.

Description/Links and Connection Display | The display parallels the physical properties of the System Element and links. With each workflow update the image changes. See the Possible Display Examples section of the diagram above for more information on how and when the display shifts. |
Type | This field will show the System Element Type. |
Status | This field will show the System Element Status. |
Details | This field will show, if configured, System Element Custom Fields. |
Go To | This field allows a User to view the drawings, parent hierarchy, and locations associated with the selected System Element. |
Zoom Here | Selecting the widget will zoom into the drawing according to where the System Element is installed. The screenshot above shows the Zoom feature in action. |
Pending Work | This field shows all milestones completed for the System Element as well as any available work still left to be completed. |
Create Case | This field shows any Issues/Cases associated with that System Element. It also presents a Create Case button that allows a User to create a Case directly associated with that System Element. |
Comments | This field shows all previous comments associated with that System Element. It also gives a User the option to add comments. |
PM Panel

When Scheduled Work is associated with a System Element, the PM Panel icon will appear at the bottom of the System Element Details panel. PM Tasks are scheduled via the

InfraLink web application and can be configured according to the Managing PM Groups page.

Open | This field shows all open PM tasks for that System Element. |
Complete | This field shows all completed PM tasks for that System Element. Each individual task within the Complete section will also show the date the task was completed and the User who completed it. |

Components Panel

The Component panel is displayed only if the selected System Element has children System Elements. Based on the System Hierarchy, all System Elements for which the selected System Element is a parent will be listed within the Components panel.
