Asset Management Overview

Systems operation, maintenance, and installation projects involve a wide variety of Assets, including physical hardware components that can be in inventory on warehouse shelves, out for repair or deployed in production. A Contract can involve hundreds, if not thousands, of types of material Assets.

IMMS groups similar materials, tracks pertinent attributes of materials (e.g. sizes, ratings, capacities), and organizes and navigates Asset inventory by those attributes.

IMMS supports lifecycle configuration for each Asset and offers Users real-time access to an Asset’s current Condition, Status and Location, as well as its deployment history.

IMMS also compares in-stock quantities against configured thresholds and notifies Users when it is time to reorder.

The IMMS Asset management features help ensure that System operations are never impacted by unavailable Asset inventory.
